Day 55
Last day in Yellowstone National Park we saw a Bald Eagle (Weisskopfseeadler). In the morning we entered the state of Montana in West Yellowstone, which is a nice little town but to expensive to stay overnight. We had lunch at Hebgen Lake and learned more about the Earthquake Lake which was created in 1959 during a 7.5 earthquake and a subsequent hang slide into the madison river. In the evening we stayed at a very nice campground at West Fork in Madison county in apparently the best fly fishing area of the US, as a lot of guys from California are coming here for more than 40 years.
